KavaSoft on Wednesday announced the release of HyperImage 1.0, a Mac OS X utility that enables you to download images from Web sites. HyperImage costs $29.99, and a demo version is available.
Enter a Web site URL in the toolbar, and HyperImage will begin to grab any images on that Web site immediately. It can grab galleries of sequential images, downloads several galleries simultaneously, and can work with password or cookie-protected sites as well.
You can instruct HyperImage to narrow its search, you can skip over unwanted pictures or specify links you want it to follow, include or exclude images like banners, thumbnails and buttons, and identify which file formats you want to support.
The software features a built-in browser, and lets you edit images in an image editor on your Mac. It also features a full-screen slideshow tool and the ability to share your images by e-mail, make them desktop pictures or show them in the Finder.
HyperImage requires Mac OS X v10.4 or later and is a Universal binary.
