Eastman Kodak on Tuesday introduced its new line of
Easyshare M-Series digital cameras. Compatible with both Macs and PCs, they cost from $149 to $229 depending on features and will be available beginning in June.
The M753 and M853 both feature 3x optical zoom lenses and 7- and 8-megapixel resolution respectively, and sport 2.5-inch LCD displays. The two camera models come in a variety of colors; the M753 in black, silver, purple, copper, pink and blue, the M853 in white, red, graphite, silver and espresso. The M753 will bow in June for $149, the M853 for $179.
The M873 and M883 both offer 8-megapixel resolution and high ISO settings. The M883 sports built-in face detection technology and a 3-inch LCD displays. Both come in silver and black, while the M883 will also be available in red. The M873 will be released in August for $199, the M883 will come in September for $229.
