on Tuesday announced the release of REALbasic 2007 Release 3, a new version of their cross-platform software development environment. It’s a free update to registered users of REALbasic 2007.
REALbasic is used for full-fledged software development — it makes everything from shareware and commercial applications to utilities and enterprise tools. The software is available for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux operating systems.
REAL Software counts more than 100 improvements in this new release, which has been offered as part of the company’s “90-day rapid release cycle.” Five new features have been added, such as “namespace” support, enabling developers to place classes, interfaces and modules inside modules. This helps to create more modular, reusable code, according to REAL.
