If you’ve upgraded your network to Apple’s newer, faster 802.11n-compatible AirPort Extreme Base Station and you want your older PowerBooks to run at maximum wireless networking speed, you might want to consider a new offering from QuickerTek — the nQuicky CardBus card, which costs $149.95.
nQuicky occupies the CardBus expansion slot found on all 15- and 17-inch PowerBook G4 systems. It’ll even work with late-model PowerBook G3’s that featured CardBus slots. It works with all 802.11n-compatible hardware, and is backwards-compatible with the older, slower 802.11b and 802.11g standards as well. It supports Extended, Mixed and Legacy modes.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3 or later.
