Chronos LC has released new versions of SOHO Organizer, its personal and business productivity software, and SOHO Notes, its note manager. Both versions are now at 6.1, and both are free updates for registered 6.0 users.
SOHO Organizer is used for managing contacts, calendars and notes. It combines the SOHO Organizer application, SOHO Notes and SOHO Print Essentials. It’s single and multi-user capable, features Internet calendar publishing, bluetooth phone dialing, sync with Palm devices, iPods and cell phones, and much more.
SOHO Organizer 6.1 has added new searching capabilities, tapping in to Tiger’s Spotlight search engine to find events, tasks and contacts. An advanced calendar search has been added, along with country support for Google Maps and a new “first weekday of week” override, if you want to use a specific day to mark the first weekday of the week.
SOHO Notes is the official successor to StickyBrain. Available solo or with SOHO Organizer, the software helps Mac users manage their notes. It sports a client/server design, support for “smart folders” that automatically organize notes, direct scanning into the database, 256-bit encryption and more.
The 6.1 release of SOHO Notes adds features including a serial numbers folder, password form, flagged smart folder, support for keywords in QuickNotes, multi-line text fields in form notes, a new search option and the ability to e-mail form notes.
