Adobe Systems has updated Photoshop Lightroom, its editing and workflow software for pro photographers, to version 1.1. The update is available for download from Adobe’s Web site now.
Photoshop Lightroom enables photographers to perform adjustments and edits to their photos non-destructively. The software supports JPEG, TIFF, DNG and digital raw files. It provides tools for correcting white balance, exposure, tone curves, lens distortions and color tasks, and utilizes a task-based interface.
New to the 1.1 release is more flexible image management for multi-computer workflows, improved noise reduction and sharpening technology. That only scratches the surface, however — Adobe lists dozens of changes, feature additions and enhancements in the accompanying documentation.
