CS Odessa, best known for its mindmapping and project management software, announced on Wednesday plans to offer a game for the iPhone. It’s called Aha, and it’s coming next week.
Aha is an iPhone-specific recreation of a game that CS Odessa once made for Mac OS 9. It’s a logic puzzle game in which you click on groups of the same items to remove them. The larger the group, the greater your reward.
The game is being developed as part of CS Odessa’s ConceptDraw Lab project, a skunkworks focused on releasing handy Macintosh freeware.
“After Steve Jobs’ keynote at WWDC appears that iPhone will be revolutionary entertainment device without games at all! The reason – it doesn’t support Java (it’s required to run almost any mobile phone game) and has no built-in games,” said CS Odessa’s marketing manager, Alexander Tyagulsky. “So we decided to make a small present to all future iPhone owners and make or Aha! game iPhone compatible!”
