Parliant’s PhoneValet software turns your Mac into a voicemail system; its PhoneValet Anywhere is an add-on package that lets you access your messages from anywhere. Parliant on Friday announced plans to release an iPhone client for PhoneValet Anywhere “within days” of the iPhone’s release, which happens today.
With PhoneValet installed, you can turn your Mac into a multi-line call center, complete with an automated attendant, voice mail, call blocking, call recording, logging, automated dialing and interactive voice response capabilities.
PhoneValet Anywhere lets you access your calls from a Web browser, making things like call history, messages and recordings available on a Mac or PC. Parliant is retooling PhoneValet Anywhere to work on the iPod’s screen, and expects to offer the capability as part of PhoneValet 5.2 and the separate PhoneValet Anywhere add-on.
PhoneValet Message Center costs $169.95 per line for new users; PhoneValet Anywhere is ordered separately for $59.95 per server.
