Life Record has announced the release of Life Record EMR v3.1.0, a new version of the company’s Electronic Medical Records system for Mac OS X. This release adds support for the Apple iPhone.
Life Record EMR is a Web-based electronic medical records system designed for medical practices of all types. Features include prescription tracking, patient interactivity that enables them to schedule appointments, enroll as a new patient and engage in telemedicine consultation; demographic tracking; MySQL-based database access; advanced imaging and more.
This new release adds support for the iPhone. It lets physicians look up patient records. You can add, edit, make changes, issue prescriptions, review images and everything else. The iPhone software works in combination with Life Record’s EMRAnywhere technology, which lets Life Record LivePractice users access their data online.
Also new in this release is ImageAnywhere, technology that lets you interact with radiology and imaging companies to send images straight to your Life Record EMR with no special software. You can make the image, DICOM, full motion echo or entire imaging package a part of the patient record in the Life Record EMR.
