Belkin on Tuesday introduced the N1 Vision Wireless Router, an 802.11n draft specification 2.0-equipped wireless network router that will be available in late July for $199.99.
Compatible with Macs, PCs and other devices equipped with Wi-Fi capabilities, the N1 Vision Wireless Router is also compatible with IEEE 802.11g, 802.11b and 802.3ab network standards. It features four Gigabit Ethernet ports (plus an uplink WAN port), and supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup, WPA, WPA2, 64/128-bit WEP encryption and multiple SSID security. It also supports PPTP and IPSec pass-through for users who require Virtual Private Networking (VPN) access.
What makes the N1 Vision router different, however, is the LCD display integrated into the unit. The display offers information like a download and upload “speedometer,” network bandwidth usage, information on the number of connected devices, guest access network key and date and time.
