JBL on Monday introduced “wrappers” for its Spot, a $129.95 three-piece 2.1 audio system.
The Spot sports two full-range Odyssey transducers and a subwoofer. It features a hemispherical design and is a compact system that works with the iPod, a Mac or PC, or any other device that has a headphone jack.
The Spot already comes with interchangeable black and white outer covers so you can customize the speaker system’s look for your environment, but now JBL has introduced new interchangeable wrappers to further customize the system to their taste. The wrappers are expected to go on sale Monday on JBL’s Spot Style Web site.
New designs include “woodland,” “fuschia,” “purple floral,” “base,” “graffiti,” “jaana floral” and “tattoo sepia.” Prices range from $9.95 to $19.95.
