The question has raged since the dawn of time—or at least in this case, since the
iPhone started shipping June 29: Can you sync the iPhone to different computers storing different things?
The answer, as I
posted on Friday, is yes. It can be done even though there are a few tricks that need to be addressed. But judging by some of the
forum feedback, either people didn’t believe me or didn’t understand what I was saying. There’s obviously a lot of conflicting information out there, but I can report that it can be done.
And so, since a picture is worth a thousand words, here’s my syncing situation illustrated in video format. We’ll take a visit to three Macs—two at my house and one in my office—and sync my iPhone with all three of them.
