Springy, a shareware archiving utility for Mac OS X, is now at version 1.3. The free update is available for download now; Springy costs $18.
Springy lets you open or browse the contents of an archive or disk image, and it can extract all files or just the ones you choose. You can also modify the contents of an archive or disk image on the fly; drag and drop files and more. Springy supports most major archive and compression formats including ZIP, TAR, GZIP, BZIP2 and others.
New to this 1.3 release is support for DMG and ISO files; support for PKZip Zip 64 and AES encryption for ZIP archives; support for multisegmented ZIP archives; support for Comic Book (ZIP and RAR) CBZ and CBR archives and many new user interface and usability improvements.
System requirements call for a G3 or better (including Intel) and Mac OS X v10.3 or later.
