Timex’s new Ironman sports watch model, the iControl, is the first to feature wireless iPod controls. The $125 watch is for athletes and other active users.
Paired with a dock connector interface that plugs into the iPod itself, the digital watch lets you access your iPod’s controls including play, pause, adjust volume up and down, and switch tracks forward and back. The idea is that users in the middle of a workout don’t have to fumble for their iPod’s controls; instead, they can just click on a button on their watch.
The Ironman iControl also sports a 50-lap memory recall chronograph, training log, multi-mode countdown timer, 2 interval timers, 3 customizable alarms, Indiglo night light and more.
The iControl comes in color combinations including grey and black, pink, blue, orange and green.
