Apple has released iWeb 2.0.1, a new version of the Web page publishing software it includes as part of its iLife ‘08 suite. The new version is available for download through the Software Update system preference.
iWeb lets users create a Web site using a visual Web page editor that enables them to embed video, text and images together. Users can select from a variety of templates. Users can add “Web widgets” containing snippets of HTML code, place Google AdSense ads and maps, and link personal domain names hosted by .Mac.
iWeb 2.0.1 “addresses issues with upgrading and publishing iWeb 1.x websites,” according to Apple.
There was no sign of an iWeb 2.0.1 update on Apple’s software downloads Web site as Macworld posted this article.
