Native Instruments has released Traktor Skratch 1.1, a free software update for its professional DJ system for Mac OS X and Windows. Traktor Skratch costs $669.
Traktor Skratch includes software, special “control signal” vinyl records and CDs, two pro connection cables and Audio 8 DJ, an audio interface for DJs. It enables DJs to use digital music the same way they’d use conventional vinyl records or CD decks.
The 1.1 update offers “refinements to various areas of the software,” according to Native Instruments.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4.8 or later, G4/1.67GHz or faster (including Intel), 1GB RAM.
