Apple has posted a video-on-demand of its Special Event held earlier Wednesday at the Moscone West expo center in San Francisco.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs introduced new products including the iPod touch, a redesigned iPod nano that can play video, an upgraded iPod “classic” with up to 160GB of storage capacity and an iPod nano in new colors.
He also introduced new features in iTunes, such as a custom ringtone maker, the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store, a feature which takes advantage of the Wi-Fi capabilities in the new iPod touch and the iPhone, to enable users to download music from the iTunes Store from without having to use a Mac or PC first. Jobs also surprised iPhone early adopters by announcing a $200 price drop for the 8GB iPhone.
The video-on-demand is being offered in QuickTime and MPEG-4.
