Marware has announced the release of new cases designed to fit Apple’s third-generation iPod nano and the new iPod classic. They’re priced from $9.99 to $29.99 depending on design.
The $9.99 SportGrip is a soft silicone case for the iPod nano that includes a protective film for the display and Click Wheel. The Sportsuit Convertible can “convert” between a case you carry in your hand, on a belt or shoulder strap, or alone as a slim case you put in a pocket or bag. It costs $29.99. The Sportsuit Runabout is a neoprene wrist case that lets you wear your nano like a watch; it costs $19.99.
The Sportsuit Relay is priced at $29.99 and it’s designed to work together with the iPod nano and the Nike + iPod Sport Kit receiver and sensor. It includes a protective Nike sensor pouch and wristband carrying case. An armband expansion piece is included to let you wear your iPod on your arm.
New cases for the iPod classic include the Sidewinder for iPod classic and video, a hard plastic case with side pull-out arm for earphone storage an retractable kickstand; it costs $29.99. The Sportsuit Sleeve for iPod classic and video is a neoprene case with “orca skin” case for headphones and removable clip, for $19.99; and the Trail Vue, a rugged case with cord management bungee, for $29.99.
