Channel D Software has released AudioLeak 2.0, a utility for analyzing the perceived loudness of audio files.
AudioLeak 2.0 previews the playback levels of audio files without actually having to listen to the audio. The utility basically allows you to set loudness levels quickly and easily. The company said it is being used by broadcast professionals to podcasters.
AudioLeak supports many audio file formats, including lossy and lossless, of any duration and sample rate. New features in AudioLeak include automatic audio file normalization based on Leq level, and the innovative Firefly input level metering.
A Professional version with additional features including Batch, Variable RMS Response, Logging and other features is also available.
AudioLeak 2.0 costs $29.95. For a limited time, AudioLeak Professional is offered at $49.95 — on October 1, it will go up to $79.95.
