France Telecom confirmed on Thursday it would be the official mobile wireless provider of Apple’s iPhone in France.
The company said it would begin selling the iPhone in November, but did not provide a specific date it would go on sale, nor did it provide pricing details. Apple unveiled plans earlier this week to sell the iPhone in the UK for £269 ($535) and in Germany for euro 399 ($540). Both of those countries will begin selling the iPhone on November 9.
Apple began selling the iPhone on June 29 in the US and reached its goal of 1 million units sold 74 days later.
