The October issue of Macworld is now on the newsstands, and in it is an article about printing on alternative papers with your photo inkjet—“unusual” is the word used in the headline, but the article is really more about printing on papers other than the ones provided by the guys who make the printers.
The article, which is now online, talks about the different types of paper and media available for your inkjet, and offers printing tips and advice for working with and without color profiles. There is also a companion article that talks about some of the companies that are making great media for inkjet printers. It’s not meant to be an exhaustive list, but it should get you started, if you’re looking for something beyond the basics to stretch your creativity.
