Professional audio company Blue Microphones rolled into the Mac scene last year with its first consumer product, the Snowball. At AES in New York on Friday, the company followed up that product with its newest entry in the consumer market, the Snowflake.
Made for portability, the Snowflake mic folds into a compact case which also houses a USB cable for transport in a laptop bag or your pocket. Unfolded, the case serves as a desktop stand or a laptop clip, making the Snowflake available for podcasting, making calls over the web, narrating a home video or other uses.
The Snowflake will be available November 1, 2007 for $79.
