Digital Foci on Tuesday announced the Pocket Album, a digital keychain photo viewer with 1.5-inch LCD display. The device costs $39.95 and comes in black, silver and blue.
The Pocket Album is designed to hold up to 74 pictures using 8MB of internal memory. Users can scroll manually through the photos or watch an automatic slideshow with adjustable intervals. The Pocket Album measures 2.2 x 1.6 x 0.5 inches and weighs 1.2 ounces.
The Pocket Album runs on lithium ion batteries that can be recharged either using an AC adapter or by connecting the device to a Mac or PC’s USB port. A full charge lasts for about 9 hours of battery life, according to the company. The Pocket Album also features a built-in clock with automatic on/off timer and adjustable LCD contrast.
Users can convert JPG and BMP images using software that’s included — it’s compatible with Mac OS X v10.x (and Windows).
