Apple has posted updates to its iLife ‘08 application suite to make it more compatible with Mac OS X v10.5 “Leopard,” which is being released worldwide today, Friday, Oct. 26th. The update is available for download through Software Update or from Apple’s Web site. Additionally, Apple has updated iLife ‘06 applications to make them Leopard-compatible, as well.
The updates include iLife Support 8.1.1, support files and software components that accompany the iLife ‘08 applications. This update improves overall stability, addresses other general compatibility issues and more.
iDVD 6.0.4 also gets touched. The new release also “improves overall stability,” according to Apple, and works with Mac OS X v10.5. GarageBand 3.0.5 supports compatibility with Leopard, as well.
Editor’s note: Due to a reporting error, iDVD 6 and GarageBand 3 were reported as components of iLife ‘08. They are, in fact, parts of the iLife ‘06 suite.
