AJA Video has announced plans to support Mac OS X v10.5 “Leopard.” AJA makes video hardware aimed at video professionals.
The company’s Io HD and Kona product lines are among the products that will receive Leopard updates soon, according to AJA. The Io HD is a High Definition (HD) video input/output interface that enables Mac users to work with 10-bit video over FireWire using Final Cut Studio. The device supports Apple’s ProRes 422 format.
The Kona line comprises video capture and playback cards from AJA. They offer uncompressed QuickTime, Standard Definition (SD), HD, 2K and Dual Link HD over PCI Express (PCIe).
AJA did not specify when Leopard support will be available.
