Fastmac has announced a 3-in-1 universal headphone adapter for the Apple iPhone. It costs $19.95.
The device enables any headphone equipped with a standard 3.5mm jack to connect to the recessed headphone jack found on the iPhone, and it also includes an in-line microphone, adjustable volume slider and music/phone playback control buttons that Fastmac says are similar to the “headphone capsule” that ships with the iPhone.
Fastmac also sells two other universal adapter models. A basic in-line audio adapter with flexible cable and gold plated connector port costs $4.95. There’s also a mid-level $9.95 model that has the same in-line audio adapter with flexible cable and gold-plated connector port, shirt clip, built in microphone and music playback/phone control button. The 3-in-1 unit ads adjustable volume slider and noise-suppressing microphone.
