Xtralean Software has released an update to ImageWell, its image editing software for Mac OS X. The new update is free for registered users, and costs $19.95 to register.
ImageWell lets you resize, crop, watermark and edit images, take screenshots and then upload them to the Web, save them on your Mac or e-mail them. You can also annotate images with text, shapes, arrows and lines, add drop shadows, shaped borders, flip and rotate images and more. It works with .Mac and WebDAV hosts.
New to the 3.3 release is compatibility with Mac OS X v10.5 “Leopard.” Also new in this release is compatibility with iLife ‘08 applications; a new “Favorites” feature that lets you save draw objects and their attributes; compatibility with Aperture and iPhoto’s “edit with External Editor” feature; restores an option to automatically check for updates; and adds Russion localization.
ImageWell requires mac OS X v10.3.9 or later. It’s a Universal binary.
