Music software-maker Native Instruments has updated its guitar amp simulation application, Guitar Rig, adding several new features and fixing numerous bugs.
Guitar Rig 3.0.1 includes revamped automation with active sensing for Rig Kontrol; dedicated automation style for snapshots; component highlighting; a bypass function has been added to the audio engine switch; added information for CPU display; the audio engine now shuts off after constant overload; and support for different external pedal modes (Rig Kontrol 3) has been added.
There were also several bugs fixed with this update. Native Instruments fixed automation from Rig Kontrol; better response to Rig Kontrol 3 hardware pedal; miscellaneous fixes and improvements for plugin mode; several browser improvements; miscellaneous controller assignments and snapshots fixes; numerous LoopMachine issues fixed; and various component improvements.
