Native Instruments has outlined compatibility between its many music applications and Apple’s recently released Mac OS X Leopard. The company said they while most of its applications do work with Leopard, they did find two issues that affect its products.
The first problem causes the installer included with some Native Instruments products to fail. The company fixed this issue by releasing a universal installer patch that works with Leopard.
The other issue the company found in its internal testing was a problem with dialog boxes that caused applications to become unresponsive. Native Instruments said they are currently working on an update for the affected products.
Products that are not affected by these two issues are Guitar Rig 3, Kontakt 3, Kore 2, Traktor 3, Traktor LE and Traktor Scratch. All of these applications work fine with Leopard.
