Reinvented Software on Friday introduced Together 2.0, formerly known as KEep It Together. Together costs $39; upgrades from Keep It Together cost $14.95.
Together is a file organization application that helps you keep track, preview, edit and search various kinds of files. It supports text documents, PDF files, images, movies, Web archives and bookmarks.
New in Together 2.0 is the ability to mirror hierarchical folder arrangements from the Finder, a new “tag” browser that lets you create special tags from labels, ratings, groups and folders in Together’s library, Spotlight integration, document encryption, support for Leopard’s Quick Look feature, the ability to use relative dates like “today” or “in the last 1 month,” and the ability to import documents in the background. Together 2.0 also supports multiple libraries, and makes many other enhancements and improves performance.
Together 2.0 requires Mac OS X v10.5 “Leopard.”
