FileMaker’s newest application Bento has been updated and is available from the company’s Web site. FileMaker did not list the changes in the new version, which is 1.0v2r1.
Bento is a personal database that gives users one place to put their important information, from contacts and calendars to projects and events. Bento can organize activities related to work, home, school and community, according to FileMaker.
If you already use Apple’s Address Book and iCal there is no need to re-enter any information. Bento automatically displays existing names, phone numbers, email addresses and upcoming events.
Bento will cost $49 when the final version of the personal database ships in January 2008; a family pack will be available for $99. A downloadable public preview of the application is available at FileMaker’s Web site.
