Aquafadas has introduced BannerZest, a utility to help Mac users create Flash-based animations for Web sites. It’s been released as a public beta in “standard” and “pro” editions for $45 and $99 respectively.
The software uses “themes” that work like templates, so you don’t need to start from scratch. You paste in new photos and artwork, choose colors, and then have BannerZest do the rest. Flash-based animations created using BannerZest can be uploaded using FTP software or loaded via a .Mac account, and the software integrates with iWeb, RapidWeaver, Dreamweaver and other visual Web site editing software.
The “pro” version adds some advanced editing options, workflow enhancements and specific “pro” templates, according to Aquafadas.
System requirements for BannerZest were not listed as Macworld posted this article.
