Econ Technologies has released an update to ChronoSync, their automatic synchronization and backup software for Mac OS X. The new release, 3.3.6, is available for download from the Web site and is a free download for registered users (it costs $30).
ChronoSync can be used to synchronize or back up files and folders. It can be used alone on a Mac, between multiple Macs or between Macs and PCs. It works with external drives, iPods and other mountable volumes. You set up a sync document to schedule and automatically mount volumes, and ChronoSync handles the rest.
New to this release of ChronoSync is support for Mac OS X v10.5 “Leopard.” A few minor bugs have also been corrected if you’re using other versions of the operating system. ChronoSync now uses an installer, too.
ChronoSync works on Mac OS X v10.3 or later.
