Redcort Software has released an update to Virtual TimeClock Pro, their time and attendance software for Mac OS X. Version 5.6 is a free update for users enrolled in a maintenance and support program; it’s priced starting at $195.
Virtual TimeClock Pro records employee start and stop time, and can be used to produce timesheets based on a built-in sQL database that totals employee timesheets and timecards by worker, department or task. Exports can sent to CheckMark Payroll or Microsoft Excel. You can use the software to manage accrued and used leave, holidays, vacation, sick leave and personal time. The software can operate as a standalone product or as part of a client/server system.
Virtual TimeClock Pro 5.6 has been updated for Mac OS X v10.5 “Leopard.” It also features a new Paid Break option, and a major upgrade to the Timecard Report Writer with more than a dozen new reporting capabilities and a streamlined new interface. Other enhancements have been made to program reliability and usability.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2 or later, G3/600MHz or faster, 40MB hard disk space and 32MB RAM.
