Western Digital (WD) on Monday announced a 320GB version of its Passport portable hard disk drive. The Mac and PC-compatible USB 2.0-equipped drive costs $229.99.
The drive is available in black. It works without an external power supply — it’s powered by the USB interface itself. Although it’s Mac and PC-compatible, software on the drive that provides sync and data management is Windows-only. The drive includes a USB cable and documentation.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.1.5 or later.
