Helium Foot Software on Monday introduced MercuryMover 1.0, a new utility for Mac OS X. It costs $20, and a demo is available for download.
MercuryMover helps you move and resize windows on your Mac OS X screen. It helps you keep your fingers on the keyboard rather than having to go for the mouse each time you want to move or resize the frontmost window — helpful especially for people with disabilities, according to the manufacturer.
You can move and resize windows by 1, 10 or 100 pixels at a time, or to the edge of the current screen. MercuryMover uses a “heads up display” interface, and functions on Macs that have multiple displays. It can also automatically check for updates.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4 or later. MercuryMover is a Universal binary.
