Macintosh FTP client, Captain FTP, has been updated adding several new features and adding support for Mac OS X Leopard.
New features in Captain FTP 5.2 include the ability to use any editor to edit text files remotely, the ability to compare files and you can now import shortcuts from Fetch 5.x. The update also increases support for Apple’s iDisk, allowing access to the service easier.
There are several bug fixes for Leopard as well, including fixing a bug when adding Favorites; a Quick Connect Crash; closing the application sometimes caused a crash; right-click on a file didn’t add it to the Burn Manager; and slight Interface changes.
Captain FTP 5.2 can be downloaded from the companies Web site. For new users the software costs $25.
