Blue Raven Technology has introduced the Maestro 2020 and Maestro 2040, two new two-piece Bluetooth-based wireless speaker systems designed to work with the iPod. They’re priced from $169.95 to $209.95.
Both the 2020 and 2040 are available in two separate models — either as Bluetooth Speaker Systems or as Dockable Speaker Systems. The 2020 and 2040 are 20-watt and 40-watt speaker systems respectively.
The Maestro 2020 and 2040 Bluetooth Speaker Systems connect to an iPod using a wireless Bluetooth transmitter adapter, so the iPod doesn’t need to be near the speakers. They will also work with cell phones and other MP3 players. They also include auxiliary input ports. They also feature a subwoofer output.
In addition to greater power output, the Maestro 2040 comes with a 12-key remote (the 2020 comes with a 9-key remote). Both are available in black, white or red. The Dockable Speaker Systems integrate an iPod dock connector instead of Bluetooth, to connect your iPod direction.
The Maestro 2020 costs $169.95; the Maestro 2020 Bluetooth costs $199.95. The Maestro 2040 costs $229.95, and the Maestro 2040 Bluetooth costs $299.95.
