Chronos released a new clipboard manager that records everything copied to the system-wide clipboard, allowing users to paste more than just the last thing they copied. iClipboard 1.0 requires Mac OS X 10.5.
Besides an unlimited clipboard history, iClipboard also features single-click pasting and deleting as well as full previews for rich text, image, web, movie, audio, and file clippings. The software takes advantage of Leopard’s Quick Look feature, offering previews of file clippings.
The application’s interface includes a shelf that slides out from the side of the screen. From iClipboard’s shelf, users can edit text clippings directly.
Other iClipboard features include the ability to limit the clipboard history by time or quantity, ignore clippings larger than a user-specified size, and clear the entire clipboard history with one click.
iClipboard sells for $29.99, though Chronos is offering the software at an introductory price of $19.99 through December 31. A fully-functional 30-day trial version can be downloaded at Chronos’ Web site.
