Bare Bones Software has
released maintenance updates to BBEdit and Super Get Info. Both are free updates for registered users of the most recent significant upgrade.
Super Get Info is a file and folder information utility for Mac OS X. It lets you edit type and creator codes for files, view and edit owner, group and permission settings and more. It costs $20.
The new update is now compatible with Mac OS X v10.5 “Leopard.” It also includes bug fixes for reported issues, according to Bare Bones.
BBEdit is the company’s HTML and text editor that lets you perform grep pattern matching, search and replace across multiple files, function navigation and syntax coloring. It features build-in FTP and SFTP open and save, AppleScript and Unix script support, the ability to code syntax in multiple source code languages, cold folding and more.
The 8.7.2 is a “regular maintenance release,” according to Bare Bones; it features a change to the way background windows are scrolled in Leopard. There are too many other changes to list here, but you can
view them online.
