Apple has released Security Update 2007-009 1.1, an updated version of the
Security Update it released early last week. The update is available for Mac OS X v10.4 and 10.5 users, either from
Apple’s Web site or through the Software Update system preference.
While there is no actual change to the security components included in this update, the 1.1 release “addresses an issue introduced in Security Update 2007-009 that causes an unexpected termination of the Safari application when browsing to certain web sites,” according to Apple.
The update installs over the previous release; users who did not apply the previous release can just use this one instead. Apple recommends installing it to correct for the problem with Safari.
