IntelliScanner, makers of barcode scanners and companion software to catalog everything from comic books to win, unveiled its latest product Wednesday—a portable barcode scanner designed to organize business inventory, assets and media for home and small businesses.
IntelliScanner SOHO also integrates with third-party accounting and database applications such as Microsoft Office, FileMaker, QuickBooks, Bento and MYOB, allowing users to import and export inventory data.
IntelliScanner’s other products have focused primarily on home users. But the company believes its barcode reader-based offerings can help small- and home-office users organize, automate and keep track of where things are.
IntelliScanner SOHO, which costs $299, features a portable USB barcode scanner, software and pre-printed barcode tags. It requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
