IDG World Expo on Tuesday aid that its Macworld Conference & Expo drew 10 percent more attendees than last year and it hosted 475 companies in San Francisco’s Moscone Center.
“Macworld has truly become a central place where attendees can learn, network and do business every year,” said Paul Kent, vice president, IDG World Expo. “Our goal is to make each show better than the last, and we’re thrilled that we achieved that goal with this year’s event.”
In addition to the exhibits and learning that goes on at Macworld Expo, there was also a lot of news from the show. Countless new products for the iPod, iPhone and Mac were released over the four-day event and Macworld magazine crowned its winners for the Best of Show, too.
IDG World Expo said next year’s Macworld Expo would take place January 5-9, 2009 at Moscone Center in San Francisco.
