Adobe has released an update for Adobe After Effects CS3 Professional bringing support for Mac OS X Leopard, among other changes.
After Effects 8.0.2 also adds Mac OpenGL support for supported video cards under Mac OS X v10.4.10 and v10.5. The update allows users to natively import and edit content from Panasonic P2 equipment, without transcoding or rewrapping.
After Effects now supports the Panasonic Op-Atom variant of MXF, which is the format used by Panasonic DV, DVCPRO, DVCPRO50, and DVCPRO HD video cameras to record to P2 media.
After Effects 8.0.2 is available for download from the Adobe Update Manager or from the company’s Web site.
