Maintain has released Cocktail 4.0.1 (Tiger Edition), a maintenance update for their general purpose utility software for Mac OS X v10.4 “Tiger.”
Cocktail is a suite of maintenance tools and interface tweaks for Mac OS X. It’s designed to put an easy, simple to use graphical interface in place for accessing many of the advanced UNIX functions embedded in Mac OS X; they’re accessible through five basic categories: Disks, System, Files, Network and Interface. The Cocktail Pilot also enables you to clean, repair and optimize your system.
New to the Tiger Edition 4.0.1 release is support for clearing Microsoft Office 2008 font caches, compatibility with QuickTime 7.4 and resolution of a number of other minor issues in the previous release, according to Maintain. It is strongly recommended for all Cocktail (Tiger Edition) users.
