FileMaker has announced that registration for the 2008 FileMaker Developer Conference is now open. It will take place from July 13 – 17, 2008 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Ariz.
The annual conference is billed as the largest gathering of corporate and independent FileMaker developers, consultants and trainers. More than 1,000 participants are expected to attend this year.
The theme of this year’s conference is “The FileMaker Code: Unlock the Secrets to Successful Solution Development.” More than 70 workshops and sessions are planned, with time developed to best practices and new techniques. Sessions on WEb services and PHP development will be offered. New to this year’s conference is a series of workshops featuring modules from the FileMaker Training Series. A number of business development workshops will also be offered.
Many of the sessions are led by FileMaker engineers who offer “under-the-hood” technical information on how FileMaker works. Meetings are also scheduled with product managers and tech support staff, and a multi-vendor product showcase will also be featured.
Attendees who register for the conference by May 16 save $200 and each conference attendee gets a free copy of FileMaker Pro 9 Advanced.
