When you think of Peavey guitars, you probably don’t think about the popular Guitar Hero video game, but the Peavey AG RiffMaster may change that.
Peavey has released a new line of Guitar Hero controllers made from a life-sized Peavey guitar. These are real wood guitars that have been modified to play the video game.
The guitar neck features the familiar five-colored Guitar Hero fret buttons placed among real frets on a rosewood fretboard. Of course the guitar also comes with the required strum bar and whammy bar mounted to the basswood body.
Here’s the really cool part — consumers can create custom graphics for the controllers and design their own guitars. If you don’t want to design your own graphic model, you can choose from a bank of 20 custom designs, including exclusive artist designs from rock artists such as KISS, Pantera, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ozzy Osbourne and Megadeth.
Custom painted controllers are priced at $399. More information on pricing and custom models are available from from Peavey’s Web site.
