Last week Adobe updated its Photoshop Lightroom and Camera Raw Photoshop plug-in software. Over the weekend Lightroom’s product manager acknowledged a problem with the updates and said that they’d been temporarily removed from Adobe’s Web site.
According to Adobe Lightroom product manager Tom Hogarty, the updated releases both contain an EXIF time stamp error and a conversion error for Olympus JPEG files. The updates also cause a DNG conversion error, though that issue is limited specifically to the Windows releases.
Hogarty posted instructions on how to “downgrade” to the previous release versions on his Lightroom Journal blog.
“I will post additional updates to this blog as we have more information on the timing and scope of the future update,” wrote Hogarty.
