Steven Huey Software on Monday announced the release of Hamilton, a new utility to help you track your savings bonds. It costs $19.95. A 30-day demo version is available for download.
Hamilton helps you organize your savings bonds in groups, and can download the latest values of those bonds from the U.S. Treasury, so you know what your savings bond are worth. Hamilton will advise you when bonds mature and are no longer accumulating interest. It will also warn you when bonds are too new cash in, or when bonds will incur an interest penalty. You can also import data from other programs using Comma Separated Value (CSV) files.
The software was developed for Mac OS X v10.5 “Leopard” and is a Universal binary.
