Unity Technologies has announced that their 3D game development tool Unity is coming to the iPhone.
Unity started life in 2005 as a Mac-specific game development tool, incorporating 3D graphics, physics, networking and other capabilities. It was used to create Ambrosia Software’s Gooball game and has also been used for games published by Freeverse Software and others. Developers who use Unity can deploy on Windows or on the Web.
Unity Technologies has developed an iPhone beta program to assist developers interested in using Unity to create games for the iPhone. Developers interested in using Unity for their iPhone projects are encouraged to e-mail the company for details.
